The generous donation of every kind of item by individual members of the public has enriched the December 44 Collections. These donations have helped to illustrate and record all relevant aspects of the Battle of the Bulge and of the individual's experience of war and wartime life, whether allied or German, service or civilian, military or political, social or cultural.

The museum collection contains both regular, everyday equipment as well as exceptional items, drawn from people of all walks of life. They reflect the total nature of war and reveal stories of people, places, ideas and events.
